We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team. Duties

Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote learning and development in accordance with nursery policies and early childhood education frameworks Supervise children during play, meal times, and rest periods, ensuring their safety at all times Support children's emotional and social development through positive interactions and guidance Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment that encourages exploration and learning Collaborate with colleagues to assess children's progress and share insights during team meetings Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's development, behaviour, and daily activities Assist with administrative tasks such as record keeping and planning activities Drive company vehicles as required for nursery outings or related activities

Qualifications

Proven experience working with children within a nursery or childcare setting Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childcare regulations Strong management skills with the ability to lead a team effectively Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written Childcare qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent are preferred Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate colleagues and support team development Valid driving licence is desirable for transporting children or supplies A caring attitude, patience, organisational skills, and the ability to work as part of a team are essential qualities for success in this role
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 28,420.00-29,356.00 per year
