Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage a group of children effectively, and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Create engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development across all areas. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to childcare. Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, providing feedback to parents as necessary. Foster an inclusive environment that respects diversity and promotes positive relationships among children. Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's educational offerings through leadership and teamwork.

Experience

Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire both children and colleagues. Excellent command of English, both spoken and written, to facilitate effective communication with parents and staff. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and organised approach in a busy environment.
