About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic

Nursery Practitioner

with a

Level 2 or higher childcare qualification

to join our team in Lightwater. The successful candidate will provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive, supporting their learning, development, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years in line with the

Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

framework. Plan, implement, and assess age-appropriate activities to support children's development. Observe and record children's progress and communicate effectively with parents and colleagues. Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and the nursery team to promote a positive, inclusive environment. Ensure all safeguarding, health, and safety procedures are followed at all times. Support daily routines, including mealtimes, naps, and play sessions. Participate in team meetings, training, and continuous professional development.

Requirements:

Level 2 childcare qualification or higher

(Level 3 preferred). Knowledge of the

EYFS framework

and child development principles. Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting is advantageous. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with children. Enhanced

DBS check

(or willingness to obtain one).
