Job Summary

Early Years Practitioner - Full-Time (4 Days/Week)

Pay:

12.00 - 14.00 per hour (based on qualifications and experience)

Location:

Near Kennington, Stockwell, Vauxhall, and Oval Stations

At Green Shoots Day Nursery, we are a warm, family-like setting with a caring and supportive atmosphere. We are currently looking for two qualified Early Years Practitioners (Level 2 or Level 3) to join our amazing team, as two of our valued staff members will be retiring soon.

We provide high-quality care for children aged 6 months to 5 years, offering a rich and stimulating learning environment. Our nursery is inclusive, supportive, and committed to helping both children and staff grow, thrive, and feel a strong sense of belonging.

Key Responsibilities:

Create a positive, engaging, and safe learning environment. Take key person responsibility, including planning for individual children. Support children's development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Work closely with the nursery team to deliver high standards of care.

What We're Looking For:

A passion for working with children and supporting their development. At least 1 year of experience in a nursery or childcare setting. A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare (required). A good understanding of the EYFS.
