Nursery Practitioner - Baby Room

Hours:

Full-time, 40 hours per week

Pay Rate:

12.90 - 13.40 per hour (Level 2 or Level 3 qualification)
Up to 14 per hour for candidates with strong Level 3 experience

About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Nursery Practitioner to join our team in the Baby Room. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care and early years education to infants, supporting their development in a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide attentive and individualized care for babies, ensuring their physical, emotional, and developmental needs are met. Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities and learning experiences. Observe and record children's progress, sharing updates with parents and colleagues. Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment. Work collaboratively with the nursery team to support children's learning and wellbeing. Follow all policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health & safety regulations.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare, Early Years, or equivalent. Previous experience working with babies is essential. Knowledge of early years development and care practices. Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills. A commitment to providing a safe and nurturing environment for children.
