Duties

Plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to the developmental needs of children in accordance with early years foundation stage Supervise and support children during play, learning, and mealtime activities, ensuring their safety at all times. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and behaviour, communicating effectively with parents and guardians. Support colleagues in organising daily routines and ensuring the nursery environment remains clean, organised, and welcoming. Lead by example in demonstrating excellent childcare practices and fostering positive relationships with children, parents, and team members. Assist with administrative tasks related to child attendance, activity planning, and compliance with regulatory standards

Experience

Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early childhood setting is beneficial Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education frameworks. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with children, parents, and team members. Experience with organising activities that promote learning through play.
