As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of young children, ensuring they receive high-quality care and education.

Responsibilities

Provide attentive and responsive care to children in the nursery setting. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with early years frameworks. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on their child's progress and well-being. Manage daily routines, ensuring a safe, clean, and organised environment for all children. Support children during meal times, play activities, and rest periods, promoting healthy habits. Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of childcare practice and contribute to team meetings. Lead small group activities that encourage teamwork and leadership skills among children.

Requirements

A qualification in Early Childhood Education Level 2 or 3 equivalent is essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable. Ability to drive initiatives that promote children's learning through play-based activities. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively within a busy nursery environment. THE HOURS FOR THIS POSTION ARE 12.00 18.00 MONDAY TO FRIDAY ALL YEAR ROUND
