Responsibilities

Provide attentive care and supervision to children in the nursery setting. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with early years frameworks. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive community. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and areas for improvement. Maintain a safe, clean, and organised environment that meets health and safety standards. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns that may arise. Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth operation of the nursery.

Skills

Strong knowledge of EYFS principles and practices. Excellent leadership skills to guide and inspire both children and colleagues. Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to manage multiple tasks while ensuring high-quality childcare. Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is a must A genuine passion for childcare and the ability to drive children's learning through play-based activities. Capability to adapt to changing situations while maintaining professionalism.
