About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and caring

Nursery Practitioner

to join our dedicated team in Newcastle-under-Lyme. The ideal candidate will hold a

Level 3 childcare qualification

, although Level 2 candidates may also be considered. You will play a key role in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years in line with the

Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

framework. Plan, implement, and assess engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's development. Observe and record children's progress, sharing updates with parents and colleagues. Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and team members. Ensure safeguarding, health, and safety policies are adhered to at all times. Support daily routines, including mealtimes, sleep, and outdoor play. Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

Level 3 childcare qualification preferred

; Level 2 considered. Knowledge of the

EYFS framework

and child development principles. Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with children. Enhanced

DBS check

(or willingness to obtain one).
