We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. This role involves providing high-quality care and education to young children, fostering their development through engaging activities, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
Duties
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times.
Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive team environment.
Keep accurate records of children's development and maintain documentation as required by regulatory bodies.
Support the management team in maintaining high standards of care, cleanliness, and organisation within the nursery.
Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in childcare practices.
Requirements
Relevant qualifications in early childhood education, paediatric first aid and Safeguarding, are essential.
Previous nursery experience is highly desirable, along with a solid understanding of child development/ EYFS.
A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their growth through play-based learning.
