We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality care and early childhood education in a nurturing environment. Applicants should possess strong management and leadership skills, along with excellent communication abilities, and be fluent in English. A valid driving licence is desirable to facilitate transportation needs.
Duties
Plan and implement engaging activities tailored to the developmental stages of children in the nursery
Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children's growth and learning
Support children's emotional, social, and physical development through personalised care
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities
Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure consistent care and support for each child
Manage daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and play sessions efficiently
Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with regulatory requirements
Lead by example in behaviour management and promote positive interactions among children
Assist with organising nursery events and outings, ensuring safety at all times
Contribute to the ongoing development of nursery programmes and activities
Experience
Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early childhood setting
Demonstrated management or leadership skills in childcare environments
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Experience with childcare regulations, safeguarding policies, and health & safety procedures
Driving experience or a valid driving licence is preferred for transportation responsibilities
