Early Years Practitioner

We are looking to seek a highly motivated practitioner to join our team, the successful candidate must be driven to provide high quality learning experiences for children within our care. We are looking for someone who has a nurturing approach, caring, and attentive to the needs of all individual children.

Leaps and Bounds is a busy nursery environment the ideal candidate should be proactive within their work load. Communication is key and we seek to find an individual who is confident in sharing information with our families and building strong working relationships with our staff team.

Responsibilities

:

Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and learning experience

Key worker - gathering observations / carrying out relevant paperwork

Effective partnerships with our families sharing relevant information around their children's learning and development.

Ensure you have current knowledge of policies and procedures

Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of all children

Essential Skills and Experience:

Hold a minimum HNC/SVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Childcare

A current PVG and SSSC registration

Have knowledge of Curriculum for Excellence, GIRFEC, Pre-Birth to Three, Realising the ambition, examples of how these are put into practice is essential.
