Job Description

We are looking to recruit a qualified Nursery Nurses to our nursery in Yaxley with a

minimum NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare

. You must be a good communicator both written and verbal, be self motivated and a team player. You must have an excellent knowledge of the Early Years Framework, planning, tracking, Key Worker systems and also be well presented.

Duties

- Provide exceptional care and supervision for children in the nursery setting.
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with early years frameworks.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and well-being.
- Manage daily routines, ensuring that all children are safe, happy, and engaged.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe nursery environment.
- Support children's individual needs by observing their behaviour and adapting activities accordingly.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive team atmosphere focused on the best outcomes for children.
A valid driving license would be advantageous for transporting materials or attending off-site activities.
