Hours:

40 hours Monday - Friday, Full Time / Part Time and Maternity cover available

Salary:

From 12.65 -13.05 a hour dependent on experience and qualifications

Hello, I'm Emma, the Nursery Manager at The Ark Kesteven Road.




We provide a unique, home-from-home environment with beautifully crafted rooms inspired by the Hygge philosophy and Scandinavian design. We believe children flourish in nurturing, welcoming spaces, and we champion the benefits of outdoor play and hands-on learning.




Our children love exploring the mud kitchen, spending time in our cosy yurt, and getting stuck into activities at the allotment--experiences that spark curiosity and creativity every day.




Located next to St George's School, we're proud to support smooth transitions to primary education. The children enjoy joining in with PE lessons, sports days, and nativity performances--building confidence and a strong sense of community.

About the role:

As a Nursery Practitioner you will be a key part of keep our children safe, loved and inspired to learn. Key activities include:


Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily Seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions Bonding with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments

About you:

A true love for child development and care Able and willing to work in a team Ability to communicate effectively with management, your peers and parents High levels of care and empathy that every opportunity can be a learning opportunity Knowledge of the EYFS framework

Must haves:

Early Years qualification at Level 3 Experience working with all age groups within Early Years
