We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Nursery Practitioner to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nurturing young children, supporting their developmental needs, and creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment. This role involves leading classroom activities, supervising staff and children, and collaborating with families to promote positive growth and learning experiences for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced, passionate Nursery Practitioner (

NVQ Level 3

) to join our friendly, vibrant team. This is a key leadership role within the nursery, ideal for someone enthusiastic about early years education and confident in leading a room to deliver outstanding care and learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment. Deliver high-quality childcare in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Plan and implement engaging activities that support children's learning, development, and social skills. Support a team of nursery practitioners, providing guidance and feedback. Build positive relationships with parents and carers, communicating effectively about children's progress and wellbeing. Maintain accurate records and complete room-based administrative tasks, including observations and planning. Ensure policies, procedures, and safeguarding standards are consistently upheld.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

A recognised childcare qualification (

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent

). Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting. Strong knowledge of EYFS and child development. Excellent communication and organisational skills. A genuine passion for providing high-quality care and education. A positive, professional, and team-focused attitude.
