Insafe Hands Childcare is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and motivated Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly, supportive team. Must have experience working in 3-5 room , have knowledge on curriculum, tracking and progress along with ensuring a child led approach to learning .
We are a small nursery in Renfrew, offering a warm home-from-home environment and working through a curiosity-led approach to learning. We aim to provide high-quality care where children feel safe, valued and confident to explore, play and learn.
As part of our team, you will help create inspiring experiences that support children's development and wellbeing, building strong relationships with children, families and colleagues.
You will play a key role in providing quality early years care and education in line with the Curriculum for Excellence/Pre-Birth to Three ensuring every child is supported to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality, play-based learning experiences in line with the Curriculum for Excellence (Early Level)
Observe, assess and track children's progress, contributing to learning journals and next steps planning
Use GIRFEC (Getting It Right For Every Child) principles to support children's wellbeing and individual needs
Create a safe, nurturing, stimulating and inclusive environment
Work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to daily routines
Build positive relationships with children, parents/carers and colleagues
Follow all safeguarding, child protection, health and safety and care standards
Support children with care routines including meals, hygiene and transitions
