We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of early childhood education principles. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children, fostering their development and learning through engaging activities.
Responsibilities
Create and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's physical, emotional, and social development.
Supervise and support children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships.
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, reporting any concerns to senior staff.
Collaborate with team members to manage daily nursery operations efficiently.
Encourage positive behaviour through effective management strategies.
Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills in early childhood education.
Qualifications
Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
A strong understanding of early childhood education principles is required.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
A relevant Level 3 qualification in childcare or early years education is essential.
