We are looking to recruit an experienced 1:1 level 3 qualified practitioner to support with our SEN children here at Blossoms Day Nursery on a
term time only basis
, as we expand our team. The role is with full key person responsibilities and meeting the individual targets of the Child.
Experience of working as 1:1 essential to support our children with additional needs.
Hours 24 hours, over three full days - term time only
Essential Experience/criteria:
Minimum of 2 years experience within a private day nursery
Willing to take on new training
Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one support to children with special educational needs (SEN) in a nursery setting.
Foster a safe and nurturing environment that promotes early childhood education and development.
Implement individualized learning plans tailored to each child's needs.
Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children's progress and well-being.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of childcare practices and paediatric first aid protocols.

Paediatric First Aid Qualification

All successful applicants will be required to complete and pay for an enhanced DBS check and register with the update service. The DBS must be maintained throughout the period of employment.

You need to be innovative and fun in your approach and show you can multi task, there is also an expectation you will carry out key person responsibilities such as observing and carrying out activities with children, and setting out and providing experiences that will stretch and challenge our little Blossoms. Knowledge of legislation and the EYFS, confidence and ability to be a great team player.
