Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children to learn and grow.

Duties

Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships and support children's individual needs. Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play activities, ensuring a structured yet flexible environment. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to track development milestones. Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation from all children. Lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership skills to inspire both children and fellow staff members.

Qualifications

Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare (Level 2 or Level 3) preferable Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to drive may be advantageous for location A passion for working with young children and a commitment to their development and well-being. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
