Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children in a nurturing environment. This position requires a caring and empathic, hard working practitioner with a variety of skills and the ability to deliver daily nursery operations effectively while ensuring the well-being and development of each child.

Duties



Provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children aged 0-5 years. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play, ensuring that all children's needs are met. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships and support children's emotional well-being. To keep track of children's progress, maintaining accurate records to inform planning and share with parents. Collaborate with team members to create a supportive atmosphere that encourages professional growth and teamwork. Uphold health and safety standards within the nursery, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

Qualifications



Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for childcare and the ability to drive children's learning through play. Knowledge of the EYFS framework is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided as necessary.

Pay: 12.21-12.85 per hour
