About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and caring Early Years Practitioner to join our Maida Vale Nursery and Pre-School, which provides education and care for children from birth to 5 years old. Conveniently located near Maida Vale and Kilburn Park stations, our nursery offers a creative and stimulating environment where children take part in a wide range of activities, including science experiments, cooking, role play, gardening, outdoor exploration, and imaginative play. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will support children's learning and development while working closely with your team to deliver a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. You will also build strong relationships with parents and carers to ensure every child thrives.

Key Responsibilities

Support the planning and delivery of activities based on the EYFS and individual children's needs Encourage learning through play, exploration, and hands-on experiences Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies are always followed Maintain accurate records of observations, assessments, and learning journals Work as part of a team to create a positive, collaborative, and supportive environment Support children with care routines, social skills, and emotional development
Requirements

Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting Strong knowledge of the EYFS and child development Ability to safeguard and protect children at all times Positive, adaptable, and friendly approach Right to work in the UK
