We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our early childhood education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their development and learning through engaging activities. Duties
Plan, organise, and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development
Supervise children during playtime, meals, and rest periods ensuring their safety at all times
Foster a warm and welcoming environment that encourages curiosity and learning
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's development and any concerns
Support colleagues in maintaining high standards of childcare and organisation within the nursery.
Experience
Level Three childcare qualification, or minimum of level two childcare qualification, and proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood setting
Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education frameworks
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Experience with childcare management systems is desirable
