We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities



Plan and implement engaging daily activities that promote childhood development, including play-based learning, creative arts, and sensory experiences. Provide attentive infant care and toddler care, ensuring each child's physical needs are met with compassion and professionalism. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment by adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Support children with special educational needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized care. Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage cooperation, social skills, and emotional resilience. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans that align with early childhood education standards and best practices.

Qualifications



Level 2 or 3 qualification Proven experience working with children in a childcare setting such as daycare, preschool, or nannying roles. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early education methodologies. Certification in first aid is required; this can be undertaken once you have got the position. Strong room management skills combined with the ability to nurture a caring and inclusive environment. Experience caring for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers through classroom experience or babysitting roles. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Ability to handle behavior management challenges with patience and professionalism.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 42 per week
