Hours:
40 hours per week, all year-round flexible working hours between Monday - Friday. 8am until 6pm across 4 days.
Salary:
Grade 16 Point 2, currently 23,656 FTE (actual pay on 40 hours will be 25,574 per annum), then moving up to Grade 14, point 6, currently 25,183 FTE (actual pay on 40 hours will be 27,224 per annum) after 6 months' probation.

25 days plus 8 bank holidays.

Huish Nurseries @ North Town Primary School is a well-established, friendly nursery dedicated to providing high-quality care and education for children aged 2 -4 years old, open 49 weeks of the year from 8:00am- 6:00pm Monday to Friday.

Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating setting, adhering to health and safety policies.
Follow all safeguarding policies and procedures of the nursery
Work collaboratively and enthusiastically with a team to ensure high standards of care and education.
Communicate effectively with parents/carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress.
Requirements:
Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare (or equivalent).
GCSEs in Maths and English are essential.
Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting is desirable.
Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient approach.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Paediatric first aid, a current safeguarding certificate and a food hygiene certificate are desirable.
