Here, our ethos is "Giving the children the best start" and we are looking for candidates with a good working knowledge of the EYFS who are able to challenge and motivate our children and work as part of a team.

We are looking for people to join our team who are qualified at NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare.

Key Areas

- Working with children - in our 105 place nursery we have six play rooms including a Breakfast/Afterschool Club. It is a busy nursery with lots to get stuck into.

- Liaison with Parents is key and we have an online development system so parents and practitioners can work hand in hand!

- Develop and deliver a programme of activities suitable to the age range of children attending the Nursery alongside the other practitioners in the room.

- Support all staff and engage as a good staff team member.

- Undertake certain domestic jobs within the nursery, for example, preparation of snack, cleaning of room and of equipment.

- To attend out of working hours activities, e.g. training, staff meetings etc.

Qualities and Experience Required

We are looking for a self motivated and confident person. You will need to be flexible in regard to hours of work and be willing to attend training and meetings out of work hours. You must be well organised, show creativity within the planning of children's activities and be able to motivate the children in your care to develop and learn.

Clean DBS (Essential)

Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable but not essential)

Paediatric First Aid (Essential)

Clean Driving Licence (Desirable but not essential)

What to expect from us:

-Training paid for and we are signed up to an online training provider so there is a wide range on offer. Most other training is inhouse and incorporated into staff meetings.

-1st set of uniform is provided.

-Wages dependent on age and experience but above minimum/living wage.

There are 2 full time & 1 part time vacancies. Part time is 7:30am-9:00am & 2:30pm-6:00PM

Pay: 10.00-14.00 per hour
