Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our early childhood education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their development through engaging activities and personalised care. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about childcare and early years education to make a positive impact on children's lives.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development in line with early childhood education standards
Supervise children during play, meal times, and rest periods, ensuring their safety at all times
Support children's social, emotional, and behavioural development through positive guidance and interaction
Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming nursery environment
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and wellbeing
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of daily nursery operations
Assist in the organisation of outings
Uphold all health and safety regulations within the nursery setting
Requirements
Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting
Knowledge of early childhood development principles and childcare best practices
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Childcare qualifications or relevant early childhood education certifications are preferred
Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach towards young children
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 25,000.00-27,000.00 per year
