We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant early childhood education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care. Duties
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
Supervise children during playtime, mealtimes, and rest periods, ensuring their safety at all times.
Foster a warm and welcoming environment that encourages children's curiosity and learning.
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities in line with regulatory standards.
Support children with personal care routines such as dressing, toileting, and feeding as needed.
Collaborate with parents and guardians to share information about children's development and wellbeing.
Assist in organising nursery events and outings, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Lead by example in demonstrating management and leadership skills within the team.
Requirements
Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood setting.
Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and child development stages.
Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
Demonstrated management and leadership abilities within a childcare environment.
Childcare qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent are preferred.
Valid driving licence is desirable for transporting children or supplies when required.
Compassionate, patient, organised, and able to work collaboratively within a team.
Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and health & safety regulations relevant to nursery settings. This role is ideal for passionate childcare professionals committed to fostering a positive learning environment for young children while developing their own skills within a supportive team.

Pay: 26,000.00-30,000.00 per year
