We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our early childhood education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care. Duties
Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development
Supervise and interact with children during playtime, mealtimes, naps, and organised activities
Maintain a safe and hygienic environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
Observe and record children's progress, behaviour, and developmental milestones
Support children's individual needs through personalised care plans
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of daily routines
Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns
Assist in organising nursery events and outings, including driving when necessary
Lead by example in demonstrating excellent childcare practices and management skills
Requirements
Proven experience working with children within a nursery or childcare setting
Strong management and leadership abilities to oversee daily nursery operations
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development standards
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Childcare qualification recognised within the UK (e.g., Level 3 Early Years Educator) or equivalent
Experience with nursery management systems is desirable
Ability to effectively communicate with children, parents, and team members
Valid driving licence is preferred for transporting children or supplies when required
Passionate about early childhood education with a caring attitude towards young learners

Pay: 24,420.00-31,711.16 per year
