We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong background in early childhood education. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.
Duties
Helping to plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's development.
Supervise and support children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
Collaborate with other staff members to create a harmonious nursery environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as nursery policies and procedures.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills.
Requirements
Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being able to take initiative when required.
