We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young learners, supporting their development and well-being.
Duties
Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 2-5 years in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play, ensuring each child's individual needs are met.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, maintaining open lines of communication to support children's progress.
Observe and assess children's development, keeping accurate records to track their growth and achievements.
Maintain a safe and clean nursery environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Work collaboratively with the nursery team to ensure the smooth running of daily operations.
Demonstrate strong management and leadership skills to guide less experienced staff and contribute to their professional development.
Qualifications
Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are required for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
A valid driving licence is advantageous for potential off-site activities or outings.
