We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Practitioner to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and attentive care. Duties
Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
Provide attentive care to infants, toddlers, and preschool children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized attention.
Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly classroom environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Monitor and document children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure consistent care and effective communication regarding each child's needs.
Administer first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any emergencies or behavioral issues.
Support children during meal times, nap times, and daily routines to foster independence and good habits.
Experience
Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is highly desirable.
Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific caregiving techniques.
Experience with classroom management, behavior management strategies, and caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting.
Familiarity with special education practices and working with children with disabilities is a plus.
Certification in first aid is preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided if necessary.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with young children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team dedicated to early childhood development.
