We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Practitioner. This role is pivotal in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, ensuring their safety, development, and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, along with a passion for early childhood education.
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality childcare.
Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that promote children's learning and development.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
Maintain effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
Supervise daily activities, ensuring they are age-appropriate and inclusive.
Manage staff schedules and conduct performance evaluations.
Foster a positive team environment through effective leadership and support.
Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and childcare regulations.
Requirements
Proven experience in management or leadership roles within a nursery or childcare setting.
Strong background in early childhood education with relevant qualifications.
Experience working with children, demonstrating a genuine passion for their development.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Ability to drive may be advantageous for transporting children or materials as needed.
Knowledge of childcare regulations and best practices is essential.
