Buckshaw Village Nursery is a dedicated private children's day nursery committed to providing high-quality early childhood education and care. Our aim is to nurture, educate, and support young children in a safe and stimulating environment that promotes their development and well-being.

Summary

We are seeking a passionate Nursery Practitioner with some SEND experience. SEND experience is desirable, however training will be given. An in depth EHC plan is in place to support the child. The successful candidate will work alongside the child's current key worker and must be available Monday, Tuesday and Friday.

Responsibilities

To provide 1:1 support for a child who attends our setting with additional needs. Plan and implement engaging activities tailored to the child's current EHCP. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care. Support the child's social, and educational development. Maintain accurate records of the child's progress and daily activities. Uphold nursery policies and procedures consistently. Promote inclusive practices that respect each child's individual needs.

Qualifications

Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood setting. Excellent communication skills in English. Knowledge of early childhood education. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Passion for child development and education. Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: 15.04 per hour

Expected hours: 21 per week
