Working Hours & Shift Pattern
Full-time, 40 hours per week
Monday to Friday
Shifts within nursery opening hours
Breaks provided in accordance with nursery policy
Occasional overtime available depending on operational needs
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a warm and respected nursery in Woodford. You will support children's early development in a nurturing, child-led environment that values learning through play, high standards and professional growth. This Nursery Practitioner role is ideal for someone who is passionate, proactive and enthusiastic about delivering exceptional early years experiences while progressing their career within a high-quality setting.
Key Responsibilities
Support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS framework
Act as a Key Worker, building positive and supportive relationships with children and families
Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that inspire learning and curiosity
Maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment across all age groups
Ensure full compliance with safeguarding, DBS, health and safety and Ofsted requirements
Carry out accurate observations, assessments and learning records
Work collaboratively with colleagues to support high-quality practice
Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing and independence
Contribute to room planning, team discussions and continuous improvement
Requirements
Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Qualification
Experience as a Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator or Childcare Practitioner
Strong understanding of child development and the EYFS
Knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety and Ofsted requirements
Positive, proactive and caring attitude
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
