Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting children's learning and development through engaging activities and effective communication.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Create and implement engaging learning activities that promote children's development across all areas. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to support their individual learning journeys. Manage daily routines, ensuring a safe, clean, and organised environment for all children. Support children in developing social skills, independence, and confidence through play-based learning. Collaborate with the leadership team to uphold the nursery's values and standards of care.

Experience

A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is essential. Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills to guide and support junior staff members as needed. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. A proactive drive to create a positive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of all children. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of care.
