We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young learners. Your leadership skills will help guide and inspire both children and fellow staff members, ensuring that each child's individual needs are met.
Responsibilities
Create and implement engaging educational activities that promote the development of children.
Foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere where children feel secure and valued.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and well-being.
Manage daily nursery operations, including maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the nursery space.
Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents as necessary.
Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver high-quality childcare services.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding regulations at all times.
Experience
Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is preferred.
Strong leadership skills to effectively manage activities and guide junior staff members.
Excellent communication skills in English to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
Ability to drive initiatives that enhance children's learning experiences.
Experience in managing diverse groups of children while ensuring their safety and well-being.
