Overview
We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our team. You will play a key role in creating a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. Working within the EYFS framework, you will support children's development through meaningful interactions, thoughtful planning, and strong partnerships with families.
Key Responsibilities
Develop strong, secure attachments with a small group of key children.
Build trusting, professional relationships with parents and carers.
Use regular observations and assessments to understand each child's interests, development, and needs.
Plan engaging, age-appropriate activities that extend learning and promote curiosity.
Record children's progress, development, and learning milestones clearly and accurately.
Share developmental updates with parents and contribute to planning meetings and assessments.
Provide a caring, responsive, and nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and understood.
Support children with transitions, separation, and emotional regulation.
Communicate effectively and professionally with families, sharing daily updates and discussing any concerns.
Encourage parental involvement and maintain open lines of communication.
Follow all safeguarding procedures in line with statutory guidance and nursery policies.
Immediately report any concerns regarding a child's welfare or safety.
Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion in all areas of practice.
Ensure all children have access to opportunities that meet their individual needs and abilities.
Support children's personal care needs, including feeding, changing, toileting, and comforting when needed.

Pay: 12.60-12.80 per hour
