We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. This role requires excellent communication skills, leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage and inspire young learners. The Nursery Practitioner will play a crucial role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to thrive.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Develop and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning through play.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive community.
Maintain accurate records of children's development and progress, communicating effectively with parents regarding their child's achievements.
Collaborate with the nursery team to create an inclusive environment that meets the diverse needs of all children.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and nursery procedures.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Have experience in Inclusion work/referrals for additional needs children
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Diploma).
Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
Strong management and leadership skills to guide and support junior staff members.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
A genuine passion for working with children and understanding their developmental needs. .
