We are looking for an experienced
Level 3 Room Manager
to lead one of our nursery rooms, taking ownership for the day-to-day running of the room and inspiring your team to deliver exceptional care and education. This is an exciting opportunity to join us from the very start and play a key role in shaping our culture and setting high standards for practice.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the daily running of your nursery room, ensuring the highest standards of care and education
Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS
Act as a key person for a group of children, building strong, supportive relationships with them and their families
Support, mentor, and guide room staff, apprentices, and students, modelling best practice and providing feedback
Carry out observations and assessments, using these to inform planning for children's next steps
Oversee care routines such as nappy changing, toileting, hand washing and mealtimes, ensuring they are carried out with dignity and respect
Maintain accurate records and ensure all safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory requirements are met
Work collaboratively with colleagues, management, and external professionals to meet every child's needs
Support children through key transitions, such as moving rooms or preparing for school
Take an active role in staff meetings, training sessions, and supervisions, contributing ideas and sharing expertise
Champion inclusion and equality, ensuring all children have access to opportunities to develop and thrive

About You
Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent)
Previous experience in a nursery setting, with proven leadership or mentoring responsibilities
Confident understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding, and health and safety requirements
Strong organisational skills and ability to lead by example
Approachable and supportive, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Passionate about giving children the best start in life and supporting their individual needs
A driver is preferred due to the rural location, though we are within walking distance of Headcorn train station
