Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Room Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As the Nursery Room Leader, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development and well-being of children in your care. Your leadership skills will be essential in guiding a team of childcare professionals to ensure high standards of care and education.

Duties

Lead and manage the nursery team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective delivery of childcare services. Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that cater to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff, ensuring open communication and collaboration. Maintain a safe, clean, and organised nursery environment that meets health and safety regulations. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and adapting programmes as necessary. Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's reputation within the community while promoting inclusivity and diversity.

Experience

Proven experience in a childcare setting, ideally within a nursery or early years environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. A relevant qualification in early childhood education or childcare is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. A genuine passion for working with children and an understanding of their developmental needs is essential.
