The Role:


As a Room Leader at St. George's Nursery, you'll take on a vital leadership role, managing your own room and guiding your team to deliver outstanding care and education. Your duties will include:

Team Guidance:


Lead and motivate your room's team, ensuring the delivery of excellent care and learning practice.

Curriculum Delivery:


Plan and deliver a fun, engaging programme tailored to the developmental needs of each child.

Family Partnerships:


Build strong, trusting relationships with parents, maintaining clear and open communication about their child's progress.

Environment Oversight:


Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning space where children feel valued and encouraged.

Quality Enhancement:


Continuously reflect on and raise the standard of care and education, championing a culture of excellence.

About You:


We're seeking a Room Leader who is passionate about early years education and eager to grow into leadership. The ideal candidate will have:

Qualifications:


A recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent), with secure knowledge of the EYFS framework.

Experience:


Hands-on experience in an early years setting, with any prior leadership or mentoring experience seen as valuable.

Leadership Ability:


Strong organisational and team-leading skills, with a flair for motivating and guiding others.

Communication:


Excellent interpersonal skills, confident in engaging with children, families, and colleagues.

Dedication:


A genuine passion for early childhood development and a commitment to delivering rich learning experiences.
