We are seeking an experienced and motivated
Room Leader
to oversee our Babies and Toddlers room at our nursery in IG8. The successful candidate will lead a team of practitioners, create a nurturing environment, and ensure the highest standards of care and early education.Key Responsibilities
Lead the daily operations of the Babies & Toddlers room Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities following the EYFS framework Provide high-quality care and support to children Support, guide, and mentor practitioners within the room Ensure safeguarding, health, and safety standards are consistently maintained Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
Requirements
Level 3 childcare qualification or higher (essential) Previous experience in a Room Leader or Senior Practitioner role Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding procedures Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills A caring, patient, and positive approach
