Room Leader - Nursery

Location: HP9 2QP
Contract: Full-time, 40 hours per week (rota shifts between 7:30am - 6:30pm)
Salary: Up to 30,000 per year (depending on experience)

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated

Room Leader

to join our nursery team. As a Room Leader, you will play a key role in providing high-quality childcare, supporting children's development, and leading a team to deliver outstanding care and education.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the day-to-day running of your designated room. Support, mentor, and motivate your team to ensure the best outcomes for children. Plan, implement, and review age-appropriate activities in line with EYFS. Maintain a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment. Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and company policies are followed at all times.

Requirements

Level 3 qualification in Childcare

(essential). At least

2 years' experience

in a nursery/childcare setting (preferred). Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Passion for supporting children's learning and development.
