We are seeking a passionate Nursery Room Leader to join our team in Mini Moon's, our 2years - 3 years age.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mini Moon Room Leader, age 2years-3 years, to join our team, our nursery is based in Catterick and has been established for 9 years.

This role is pivotal in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting their development through engaging activities. We feel our nursery is a homely nursery, with fantastic environments, where children, families and staff come together to create something very special within our community.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for early childhood education, and the ability to effectively communicate with both children and our families.

In this role, you will lead a room of children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development while promoting an engaging learning environment. Your leadership will be key in guiding staff and creating a positive experience for both children and parents.

Responsibilities

Lead the daily operations of the nursery room, ensuring high standards of care and education. Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Supervise and support nursery staff, fostering teamwork and professional growth. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and well-being. Maintain accurate records of children's development and attendance.

Requirements

Proven experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Excellent communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: 13.18-13.70 per hour
