Job Description

Orchard Barns Ardleigh is looking for a Room Leader to come and join our expanding team.

This is a wide and varied role but as an overview, you will:



Ensure high-quality childcare and education is provided in a safe, stimulating environment. Be a role model for staff including high levels of professionalism and standards of appearance. Lead, Mentor, and inspire a team to provide outstanding quality education and care. Providing support to the Nursery Manager. Carrying out termly supervisions, observations, and cohort tracking. Ensuring the Early Years Foundation Stage is embedded and adhered to. Promote and ensure children's welfare and health and safety, safeguarding and policy and procedure are followed at all time.

This is a full-time position. Salary is based on experience, qualifications, and the suitability of the successful candidate.

Essential Skills/Qualifications:



Full and relevant Early Years qualification Level 3 or above

Minimum 2 years' post qualification

Awareness and working knowledge of the EYFS Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures Understanding of the Ofsted inspection framework Experience of working within a team in a similar role Knowledge of health and safety requirements
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 27,560.00 per year
