Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team of practitioners to deliver exceptional care and learning experiences in line with the EYFS. Promote a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children. Ensure consistent compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and company policies. Oversee room planning, observations, and assessments. Support and mentor playroom staff and students through effective supervision and guidance. Develop positive relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals. Manage staffing levels and ensure smooth day-to-day room operation. Implement the key person system and ensure each child's individual needs are met.

Requirements:

Essential:

Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (full and relevant) At least 2 years' experience in an early years setting Excellent knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding protocols Proven ability to lead, motivate, and support a team Strong communication, organisational, and time-management skills

Desirable:

Forest School Level 3 Lead qualification Paediatric First Aid, Prevent Duty, FGM Awareness, Food Hygiene SEND knowledge or SENDCO qualification Experience with digital platforms (e.g., Tapestry, FAMLY, Learning Book)
