Willow Cottage Nurseries is looking for an exceptional Early Years Room Leader with a passion for leadership and a vision for delivering the highest quality education and childcare.

Roles and responsibilities

As a Room Leader you will be involved in:

Delivering and maintaining a professional standard of care and education with high expectations of all children and colleagues. Inspire, motivate, and give direction to the team in order to provide the best possible care and education for the children in an environment which is inviting and challenging. Sharing and role modelling professional knowledge and experience in line with current thinking around child development. Supporting reflective practice, observations and planning in order to meet the individual needs of all children. Meeting statutory requirements such as safeguarding, welfare, learning & development, SEND support and record keeping and supporting the team to maintain the same high standards.

Hours/Contracts Available

Full time - 40 hours over 4 days - 7.30am to 6pm
*The nursery is open all year round and is not able to offer term-time only positions.

Salary

2000 welcome bonus (T&Cs apply)

Team Room Leader - 30,467
Deputy Team Leader - 28,946

Qualified to

Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent

Experience

Minimum 1 year working at early years level 3 or above
