We're seeking a
committed and experienced Nursery Room Leader
to join our friendly and inclusive nursery team in
Hounslow
. This is a fantastic opportunity to take the lead in a rewarding early years role within a supportive setting that values staff development and child-centred care.
About the Role:
As a
Room Leader
, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of your assigned room (age group may vary). You will lead by example to ensure a high standard of care, learning and development in line with the
Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and motivate your room team to deliver outstanding care and education
Plan and implement creative and stimulating EYFS-based activities
Monitor, assess and support children's learning and development
Maintain a safe, clean, and positive environment at all times
Build strong relationships with parents and carers
Ensure all safeguarding and health & safety policies are adhered to
Support staff training and performance through mentoring and feedback
Requirements:
Minimum
Level 3 qualification
in Childcare / Early Years Education (or equivalent)
At least
1 year's experience
in a nursery or early years setting (Room Leader experience desirable)
Excellent knowledge of the
EYFS
and child development
Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
A caring, energetic and proactive approach to early years education
