To be eligible for a payment, you must either:
- not have worked in a nursery before,
- have worked in a nursery before but not in the last 6 months,
- have worked in a nursery in the last 6 months but on a temporary contract

The Role:
As a Unit Leader, you'll take charge of a specific unit (Baby, Toddler, or Preschool), guiding your team to deliver outstanding care and education. You'll be supported by a robust management structure, including your Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager, and our Head Office team.
What You'll Do:
Guide and inspire your room team, maintaining high standards of care and learning
Act as a role model for best practice aligned with EYFS and safeguarding principles
Build strong, caring relationships with children and their families
Lead planning, observations, and assessments in your room
Help create a vibrant, inclusive, and enriching environment
Support teammates with training, wellbeing, and career development
What We're Looking For:
Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 5 preferred)
Prior experience as a Room Leader / Senior Practitioner
Confidence in leading a team within a room
Strong understanding of the EYFS, Ofsted, and safeguarding practices
A warm, enthusiastic and proactive attitude
