We are looking for a Level three qualified early years educator to join our team as a room lead.

Would you be able to support the management with leadership of their team in the daily running of the nursery including opening and closing?
Do you have what it takes to support operation of the nursery facilities and staff to ensure a high quality balanced provision of leasing practice education and care is delivered at all times?

We're looking for somebody who can assist in the training, supporting, mentoring and role modelling with supervision of the staff and team inspiring and leading ambitious practice.

As part of your job- being responsible for the management of the room- you will role model, inspire and support the ambitious practice required to sustain the level of care and commitment required for Grove Villa childcare.
You'll need to liaise with the manager or the deputy to ensure that operational policies and procedures implemented by Grove Villa Childcare are adhered to ensuring that all relevance legislation is met.
You'll need to be able to respond professionally to complaints both verbal and written, recording and reporting to management and assisting positively with actions that may be required.
Do you think you will be able to assist with inspections and support staff to action all recommendations within the agreed timescale?
Do you think you could maintain room ratios and keep them in line with policy and make sure that rotas are adhered to, supervising staff breaks efficiently?
You'd need to be able to complete daily room registers and records of the children in attendance are accurate.
It's paramount that you will be able to adhere to health and safety policies, complete risk assessments, hazard logs and documentations that are set out in operational plans and participate in emergency and security procedures.
It will be your job to be alert to issues of safeguarding ensuring that the welfare and safety of the children and adults is paramount recording and reporting any concerns to your designated safeguarding lead.
You'll need to maintain the high standards of cleanliness and Hygiene in practise and to be able to support with first aid and medication as appropriate.
If you can work with the Manager, the Deputy and other supervisors to provide trial feedback on candidates, pass on information to the team, participate in self reflection plans and identify training and support as needed for room staff, Oversee observations, assessment and room planning, ensure good records are kept as part of the children's development and support children in settling then this is the role for you !
